Dr. Vats has a great bedside manner. He is very thorough and cares about his patient's well-being. He listens to your concerns and doesn't make you feel rushed. His office staff is very friendly and caring as well.

Very easy to get an appointment. All of the providers have incredible bedside manners. You never feel rushed at all. I'm most impressed by their follow up, responsiveness, and their really taking the time to follow through on your healthcare. Where other doctors have just written you a prescription to get you out of their office quickly, Merak insists on regular visits and bloodwork to make sure everything is working. Here's an example: a friend of mine (M55) was put on testosterone by his doctor with zero follow up. It's a pretty high dose (2mg/week). He tore a muscle at the gym and got horrible blood clots, which is a side effect of too much testosterone. Merak tests my blood every 3 months, has me donating blood to keep it thin, and keeps my dosage lower so that my T levels are in the normal range. In other words, they are keeping me safe and healthy. It's a hassle, sure, but responsible medicine which I'm grateful for.

By far the best doctor I have had in my entire life. I have suffered from multiple Chronic Illness and Debilitating Conditions since I was 12. Every doctor I have had has dismissed me as being to complex because all the various issues being to much for them to treat. Dr. Vats from day one listened to everything I already had been diagnosed with, and listen to my current issues that haven't been diagnosed, and accepted that I was complex. He heard my plea for help and understanding. He decided it wasn't to much for him or to complex for him. He understood most of my issues have been diagnosed but have gone untreated for so long that treating everything at once would be a system shock so we would have to go at it one or two problems at once. Starting at the worst ones that could be a big problem quicker. If I ever have a problem I know I can call or email him or his staff and get it handled. I have never had a doctor or his staff follow up the way they do with me and the pharmacy. The hardest choice for me was choosing between being able to continue my current insurance to keep Dr. Vats and is wonderful team or be able to get dental care I need. He assured me that they will try their best if not will work with my new doctor to make sure they know everything. Regardless after my teeth are fixed I will be switching back to the insurance and go back to Dr. Vats ASAP. He is care oriented.

Takes his time to see you, never feel rushed. I didn't have to wait to be seen. Highly recommend. You will get great care.

Dr. Vats and his staff were outstanding and understanding. The office was clean, bright and simple. For the first time in a long time I felt "cared for" and unrushed in this type of setting. I really cannot say enough good things about Merak Health Primary Care.
